How to use the sharpener:
Place the knife on the magnet with the blade facing up and roll the sharpener back and forth against the blade. If the blade is wide, place a cutting board or book under the sharpener, for example, and roll. The magnet has 15 and 20 degree angles. The diameter of the sharpening surface is 5 cm. One end of the sharpener has a coarse grit (400 grit) and the other end has a fine grit (1000 grit).
